10 for 10: Celebrating a Decade of ZOOZ – 10 ZOOZ Athletes’ Goals for the Future

Every ZOOZ Fitness athlete has a unique reason for coming to the gym and personal goals they strive to achieve. For some, it’s about the inclusive and welcoming environment that allows them to feel empowered in their fitness journey. Others are focused on weight loss, strength, mobility, or skill-building.
But for all of them, ZOOZ is more than just a gym—it’s a place where they can challenge themselves, build confidence, and push toward something greater.
Here are 10 of our athletes’ goals for the future:
Austin – Get stronger and self defense
Austin comes to ZOOZ 2-3 times a week and works with the personal trainers and in the boxing class. Austin hopes to achieve his goal of getting stronger, and learning to defend himself better in the boxing class.
“Working out here is helping because it’s awesome,” he said. “It’s a good environment and a nice place and the workouts are helping me get stronger.”
Gus – Build a Stronger, Fitter Body
Gus is dedicated to his fitness, coming to ZOOZ multiple times a week for one-on-one training. He’s determined to increase his strength and endurance, but his primary goal?
"I especially want to lose weight and get a six-pack," he said.
With a strong focus on core training and conditioning, Gus is working hard toward achieving his goal.

3. Johnny – Make New Friends While Getting Fit
Johnny is a regular in the teen circuit and boxing classes, where he focuses on improving his health and staying active. But beyond fitness, ZOOZ has given him something even more special—a place to connect with others.
"I love meeting more friends here,” Johnny said.
For him, ZOOZ is about community, friendships, and shared motivation.
4. Nick – Keep Dancing & Stay Active
Nick is a Zumba regular, showing up every week to move, groove, and have fun with his friends. His goals? To stay active, keep dancing, and lose weight while doing something he loves.
"Zumba helps me stay healthy while having a great time with my friends," he shared.
5. Nikita – Prioritizing Health & Fitness
Nikita attends the teen circuit classes each week, motivated by his desire to stay active and feel good.
"I work out because exercise feels good," he said.
For Nikita, it’s all about building a habit of movement and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

6. Hailey – Push Her Limits & Get Stronger
Hailey is one of the most dedicated athletes at ZOOZ, taking part in every class—circuit, boxing, Zumba, and even martial arts. She thrives on pushing herself further each week.
"I exercise hard to get healthy and strong," she said.
Her goal? To challenge herself a little more every time and keep getting stronger with each workout.
7. AJ – Build Muscle & Strength
AJ splits his time between one-on-one training and circuit classes, where he focuses on building muscle and increasing overall strength.
"I want to get stronger and see my muscles grow," he said.
His trainers are helping him achieve his goals through progressive resistance training and structured strength-building workouts.
8. Vincent – Social Connection & Physical Growth
For Vincent, ZOOZ is more than a gym—it’s an opportunity to get out of the house, interact with others, and build confidence through fitness.
"I started coming to ZOOZ to be around more people and stay active," he said.
He’s also working on self-defense skills in boxing and improving body control through exercise.

9. Tim – Focus on Weight Loss & Health
Tim attends weekly boxing sessions with a clear goal in mind—to lose weight and prioritize his long-term health.
"I’m working hard to stay healthy and keep my weight under control," he said.
That being said, Tim believes in balance.
"I do like to splurge once in a while, though," he laughed.
10. Ben – Learn & Master New Workouts
Ben comes to ZOOZ to expand his fitness knowledge, especially when it comes to boxing techniques and strength training.
"I love learning new exercises and boxing moves," he said.
He’s constantly working toward improving his form, technique, and overall fitness level.
Bonus: Brenner – Dance for Health & Mobility
Brenner’s goal is simple but powerful—to keep dancing and stay mobile. A passionate Zumba enthusiast, he finds joy in movement.
"I love to move and groove by dancing at Zumba," he said. "It helps me stretch more and keeps my body moving."
For Brenner, Zumba isn’t just a workout—it’s a celebration of movement.
